Reconstruction of heating network in Elektrenai

Saulės Street heat supply networks reconstruction of boiler no. 3 to house the Saulės Street 28, Elektrėnai. During 2010 the facility conducted work for 0.71 million. Lt.Reconstruction of Rumsiskes wastewater treatment plant, design and construction of Ziezmariai sewage treatment plant sludge drainage facilities

Having signed an agreement with CJSC “Kaisiadoriu vandenys“ in April 2010, a joint-stock company “Pozeminiai darbai“ undertook to reconstruct Rumsiskes wastewater treatment plant (hydraulic capacity - 450 m3 / d) as well as design and construction works of Ziezmariai sewage treatment plant sludge drainage facilities. The contract sum is almost 3 million 200 thousand Litas.

Modernization of heat supply network infrastructure in Taurage town

This project was launched in June. The works are planned to be completed by October of next year. During the project, it is planned to replace 3 kilometers of the heat supply networks. The contract value is almost 5 million Litas.

Reconstruction of heat supply networks on Saules str. from the boiler-room No. 3 to Saules str. 28

In order to increase heating efficiency, Elektrenai public utilities announced a tender for reconstruction of heat supply networks on Saules street. The works are planned to be completed by November of next year. The sum of the project implementation exceeds 750 thousand Litas.

Utilization of waste heat for heating Vievis by combining Elektrenai and Vievis centralized heat supply networks

This project costs 11 million 785 thousand Litas. The customer of the works is CJSC "ENG". Having signed a contract with the customer, JSC “Pozeminiai darbai“ undertook to implement works to improve efficiency and reliability of centralized heat energy supply in Vievis by combining Elektrenai and Vievis centralized heat supply networks and utilizing waste heat of Lithuanian Powerplant. Part of the works is already done. The entire project is planned to be completed by July of next year.

Reconstruction of the heat supply networks on V. Kreves Ave 82A … 118H, 2^nd stage

During the 2^nd stage it is planned to implement reconstruction of the heat supply networks from VM-1 to 1T-6. The value of this stage exceeds 6 million Litas. The total value of the project is over 13 million Litas. The goal of the ordered project is to reduce heat losses in heat supply networks and to ensure the quality of heat supply for inhabitants of Kaunas and other users.

Extension of the Kaunas wastewater treatment plant for biological treatment and network extensions

One of the largest projects carried out by Požeminiai Darbai AB is the Extension of the Kaunas Wastewater Treatment Plant for Biological Treatment and Network Extensions. The Kaunas wastewater treatment plant is the most powerful treatment plant in the Baltic States. The value of the project was 21.5 million Euro. This object was awarded the gold medal in the category Lithuanian Product of the Year 2008.

Development of waste management system in the Marijampolė Region

Požeminiai Darbai AB was awarded the silver medal for the development of the new dumping ground in Marijampolė. This object meets the requirements of EU and complies to the Lithuanian legal acts. The value of the project was 5 million Euro.

Water improvement equipment in the District of Petrašiūnai, Kaunas City

The company has also taken care of the cleaner fresh water for the District of Petrašiūnai in Kaunas City by installing water improvement equipment. The value of the project was 5.5 million Euro.

Nemunas middle basin project, Package I: expansion of the water supply and wastewater networks and construction of a sludge ground in Jurbarkas

While implementing the project Nemunas Middle Basin Project, Package I: Expansion of the Water Supply and Wastewater Networks and Construction of a Sludge Ground in Jurbarkas, the company built the networks along the sides of the streets and rebuilt or renovated the existing damaged networks.

Extension of the Kaunas water supply and wastewater networks, Part 2: II Birutė, Julijanava

The project Extension of the Kaunas Water Supply and Wastewater Networks, Part 2: II Birutė, Julijanava was implemented in cooperation with Magistralė UAB and Statovita UAB. According to the technical documentation, during the implementation of this project the company built 15 692 m of wastewater gravity pipelines, 4 213 m of pressure pipelines, 4 332 m of water supply lines and 11 pump houses.

Reconstruction of the heat supply networks from ŠK 4Ž-27 to 4Ž-35 on Partizanų street, Kaunas

When implementing the project Reconstruction of the Heat Supply Networks from ŠK 4Ž-27 to 4Ž-35 on Partizanų street, Kaunas, the company Požeminiai Darbai AB demonstrated the ability to deal with extremely complex projects. The project was implemented under severe conditions: the network was built near the busy Partizanų street, whereas the traffic had not been stopped at the time of the project implementation.

Development of the water supply and wastewater networks in the Jurbarkas Municipality

The company Požeminiai Darbai AB completed the project Development of the Water Supply and Wastewater Network in the Jurbarkas Municipalityearlier than it was required by the public tender. The value of this project was LTL 11 690 073.95. During the development of the water supply and wastewater networks, a number of gravity pipelines, pressure pipelines, pump houses and household connections were constructed. Overall, 12 136 meters of networks were built.

Renovation of pump houses and pressure lines in the main wastewater networks in the agglomeration of Elektrenai-Vievis

The project “Renovation of Pump Houses and Pressure Lines in the Main Wastewater Networks in the Agglomeration of Elektrenai-Vievis” was launched in 2008 and was accomplished on schedule. The goal of the project is to renovate the old pipelines and to protect the environment from pollution. Another goal is to ensure continual access to public utilities for the inhabitants of Elektrenai. The wastewater from the Town of Elektrenai is pumped into the treatment plant near Vievis (distance around 12 km). As well, three wastewater pump houses have been renovated.

Renovation and construction of centralized supply networks in Kazlu Ruda town

This project was launched at the beginning of this year. The contract value is over 450 thousand Lt. The project was initiated considering the fact that of the fact that almost half of the heat supply networks are utilized for 20-30 years; the network isolation does not satisfy the requirements of thermal conductivity; pipes rust up. During implementation of the works, smaller diameter pipelines were equipped and the length of the pipelines was reduced. The project objective - to ensure the reliability of heat supply and to reduce heat loss up to 602 MWh.

Reconstruction of water boreholes and construction of water preparation equipment in Sirvintos town and Kabalda village

JSC “Pozeminiai darbai“ has implemented the project in Sirvintos town and Kabalda village for more than 3 million 121 thousand Lt. The works were launched in 2009 and accomplished in July of this year. During implementation of the project, a former water tower was demolished, a tank was installed instead of it and new water treatment plant was constructed. In order to provide residents high quality purified water, water supply networks of Sirvintos town and Kabalda village were contracted.

Reconstruction of the heat supply networks on V. Kreves Ave 82A … 118H, 1^st stage

In order to improve heat insulation, provide heating to inhabitants, reduce heat loss in the environment, the 1^st stage of the project “Reconstruction of the heat supply networks V. Kreves Ave 82A … 118H” was recently implemented. During implementation of the project, reconstruction works of the heat supply networks were done, the goal of which was to reduce heat losses in heat supply networks and to ensure the quality of heat supply for inhabitants of Kaunas and other users. The value of the 1^st stage of the project exceeds 7.1 million Litas. The total value of the project is over 13 million Litas.

Reconstruction of the heat supply networks on Kursiu str. 49C from point A to point B, Kaunas

During implementation of the project, heat supply networks were reconstructed, located along Kursiu str. 49C. The contract value is over 1 million 622 thousand Lt.

The Venta-Lielupe River basin project: Package I

During implementation of the project, the reconstruction of the water treatment improvement equipment in Joniskis was done. The goal of the project was to improve the quality of the water. The works were launched in 2009. The contract value is 1 million 365 thousand Lt.

Development of the water supply and wastewater networks in Jurbarkas municipality

The company “Pozeminiai darbai” has accomplished obligations of the won project “Development of the Water Supply and Wastewater Networks in Jurbarkas Municipality” earlier than it was required by the public tender. The value of the project was more than 11 million 690 thousand Lt. During the development of the water supply and wastewater networks, a number of gravity pipelines, pressure pipelines, pump houses, household connections, water supply networks, and household water supply connections was constructed. Overall, 12 136 meters of networks were built.

Development of Water Supply and Household Wastewater Networks in Varena

This project was launched in March 2008. The goal of the project was to improve the living conditions of inhabitants of Varena. The implementation of the project will improve living conditions of 4000 inhabitants. This project combines wastewater networks in Varena and Senoji Varena: 14.8 km of pipelines; 7 wastewater pump houses.
